Animal Tales is an ongoing storytime series presented by a Park Naturalist from the Hendricks County Parks. The program always includes a picture book, craft, and a little information about the featured animal.
In November, the theme was Raccoons. The story was Raccoon on His Own by Jim Arnovsky, and the kids made a raccoon puppet with a paper bag.
Kids of all ages are welcome to participate. Animal Tales is on the first Monday of the month at 4:30. Check the online events calendar to see the themes in advance, and please preregister here if you know you’ll be coming.
