03 Jun Summer Reading Is… Hooray!
Summer Reading Club is up to full speed, and it’s busy in the Children’s Room!
Today was the first day for the free lunch program – Quakers’ Lunch Truck, sponsored by the USDA and Plainfield Community School Corporation- which brings a lot of people into the library with their lunch, signing up for summer reading, playing with the trains, reading, using the computers, or one of the many other possibilities. On Mondays at 12:30 this summer, kids can watch movies on our big screen. Today’s movie was Inside Out. Check out all the library activities, especially the Monday-Wednesday-Friday lunchtime specials. One thing you can always do at the library is play one of the board games or STEM kits; ask if you want help finding them. There’s a big selection you can use here or check out, so take a look.
