10 Oct Plainfield International Festival
Plainfield hosted its first International Festival on Saturday, October 5 at Talon Stream Park. Over 1,500 people were in attendance at this incredible event! From Argentina to Thailand, booths included over 30 countries from all over the world sharing their culture’s food, dress, music, customs, and educational activities. The International Festival was created to introduce diverse cultures to members of our community while celebrating and growing awareness for the cultures already represented in our community. Plainfield-Guilford Township Public Library staff hosted a booth at the International Festival to share resources such as Mango Languages, AtoZ World Food, AtoZ World Travel, Global Road Warrior, Ancestry Library Edition, and more.
