23 Feb Circulating Baby Toys
New for Babies and Toddlers
Do you have a baby coming to visit but don’t own any toys for them? Or would you like to try out some new toys before purchasing them? Check out some baby toys from PGTPL! There are quite a few options, including rattles, pull toys, and teethers.
These toys have been available for use in the Children’s Room for a while, but now you can check them out to take home. When they return, we wipe them down to sanitize them.
Library of Things
These toys are part of our growing Library of Things. The J Library of Things includes children’s board games, puzzles, and STEM kits. Patrons 18 and older can also check out board games, a giant chess set, a metal detector, and even passes to local museums.
You are welcome to use the J Library of Things items in the room any time; they are a perfect way to spend some time playing at the library. They are located behind the Imagination Hub. Let any staff member know if you would like to reserve something which is currently checked out.
When It’s Too Cold, PGTPL To Go
Don’t forget, with PGTPL To Go, you can request library materials, including items from the Library of Things, and we will bring them out to your car! PGTPL To Go is available Monday-Thursday, from 2-6p. Just put your items on hold, fill out our form, and we’ll meet you with your items!
