From Sunday, April 4 to Saturday, April 10, 2021 enter your original artwork in our Summer Reading Club Bookmark Contest! The winning entries for early literacy, children, teens, and adults will be featured on our Summer Reading Club bookmarks.
Contest Requirements
- All artwork should follow the 2021 Summer Reading Club theme, Tails and Tales.
- This contest is open to all artists, regardless of age or professional status. You do not have to have a PGTPL card to enter.
- One entry per person.
- You must be the creator of the art and image file submitted to the competition. Your art must be your own original concept and not a copy of anyone else’s copyrighted material.
- By entering this art competition, you are granting us permission to reproduce images of your artwork for marketing purposes. All winning entries will be displayed on our website and printed for the duration of the 2021 Summer Reading Club.
Age groups
The contest includes four age groups:
- Early literacy: baby-age 4
- School age children: grades K-5
- Teens: grades 6-12
- Adults 18 and older

- Design and draw your art on the template
- Scan your finished template
- Submit your art
The bookmark contest will be judged by a panel of PGTPL staff members. Winners will be announced Saturday, May 1!
Summer Reading Club 2021
Tuesday, June 1 to Tuesday, July 13.
Registration begins Saturday, May 1.
