While you are out enjoying longer days and better weather, stop by the Friends of the Plainfield Library
(FOL) silent auction in the PGTPL lobby to see what’s new in March! The auction covers a multitude of
subjects, authors and types including landscaping, cooking, Thomas Kinkade, children’s books, and adult
fiction. There are also two new puzzles and a 3-CD set of Celtic music.
For those who collect or admire fine watches, Time in Gold contains the histories of the 17 leading
luxury wristwatch companies of Switzerland. Over 450 watches from watchmakers such as Audemars
Piguet, Breguet, Patek Philippe and Rolex are featured with stunning pictures. If you prefer dogs and
humor, you might want to relax with Top Dog: Marmaduke at 50, a retrospective look at the beloved
Great Dane’s evolution through his first five decades and beyond.
Please note the auction will end on March 30 at 4pm as the library will be closed for Easter on March
31.
The auction is made possible by generous donations from our supporters. Bids can be entered in the
notebook on the FOL kiosk in the library lobby. If you are the highest bidder for an item, you will be
notified once the auction closes at month-end. Thank you to all who participate.
