If you haven’t checked out what’s in the Friends of the Plainfield Library silent auction for August, stop by to see what might interest you! Books, magazines, puzzles, CD sets, an instant scrapbook, and useful address book are available. To commemorate World Senior Citizens Day on August 21, there are offerings that will take you back a few years on subjects such as World War II, The Beatles, Star Wars, and much more. The auction is in the library lobby display case and will close at 4pm on August 31.
