30 Apr Celebrate Día at PGTPL
What is Día?
Did you know that children’s librarians have a special day to celebrate books about children from diverse backgrounds? Sponsored by the American Library Association, Día, or Children’s Day, is an annual celebration of children’s books and a nationally recognized initiative that emphasizes the importance of literacy for all children from all backgrounds. (About Día)
In fact, Día occurs every year on April 30, and celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2021!
