01 Feb Children’s Books for Black History Month
Celebrate Black History Month by learning about the great Black men, women, and children who contributed to all of humanity and fought for equal rights for African Americans. Every February since 1926, the United States has recognized the tremendous achievements of Black Americans throughout history. Carter G. Woodson, often considered the “Father of Black History”, was a scholar who spent his life studying African American history and started this celebration of the historic contributions of Black people.
