14 Apr Children’s Room Update
Your children’s room is getting a facelift! The children’s room will be closed starting Monday, April 21. We will be replacing the carpet, adding new furniture and paint, moving the help desk, updating the technology, adding new play areas and interactive toys, and much more. Ask a librarian for more details about this exciting transformation.
In the meantime, some of the children’s books will remain available on shelves just outside the the children’s room, behind the main help desk. A staff member from our children’s team will be available for questions and other help at the main help desk as well.
Our children’s room will be re-opening just in time for summer, and you’re invited to celebrate with us! Please join us for the Grand Re-Opening of the Children’s Room and our Summer Reading Club Kick-Off party on Monday, June 2. The celebration will begin at 5:30pm with a performance by Mr. Molecule Science Show, followed by other Summer Reading activities from 6:30pm-8:30pm. We hope to see you there!
