18 Apr Dusting off our helmets and greasing the chains
The weather hasn’t been the best for bicycling recently but that hasn’t stopped us from taking our lovely Book Bike out of storage and getting in some practice time around town. Here’s a picture of us riding around the empty parking lots of the Al and Jan Baker Sports Complex, which is a great place to get comfortable pulling a 300-pound trailer! (It’s also a great place to watch a baseball or soccer game.) Look for us riding around your neighborhood streets, on the trails and at parks all around town over the next few weeks as more of our staff train on riding our Book Bike safely and comfortably. Our first official outing of the season is Thursday, April 19th from 6-8 PM at the Health and Wellness Fair at Plainfield High School.
