23 Nov Gingerbread House Contest
Show off your sweet-making skills in our Gingerbread House Contest! Bring in your entry into the Children’s Room anytime December 1st through 5th during library hours.
Entries will be accepted in three categories:
- Traditional-(the house is made of traditional gingerbread and everything on the house is edible)
- Non-traditional- (includes gingerbread “style” houses that are non-edible)
- Children-(houses of all types that are made by children under age 12).
Entries will be on display in the Gallery December 8th-21st. Gingerbread houses be judged and prizes will be awarded. Houses may be picked up during library hours December 22nd and 23rd. For more information, contact Laura Appleby at lappleby@plainfieldlibrary.net.
