18 Mar March Silent Auction
New this month in the Friends of the Plainfield Library (FOL) silent auction is Weird and Unusual Trivia, a book with secret stories and surprising truths on faraway places, nature’s wonders and more. Also available, H is for Hoosier: An Indiana Alphabet takes your child through the 26 letters of the alphabet relating each one to something about our state (think B for basketball). If you are wondering what to get a youngster for the upcoming Easter holiday, the auction has two Easter baskets with fun items (no food or candy) for children 3 and over!
Stop by the library in March to see what’s on display in the lobby case. Bids can be entered in the notebook on the FOL kiosk and the highest bidder will be contacted at the end of the month. Proceeds from the silent auction are used to support library programs.
