September means kids of all ages are back in school, summer is almost over, and new items have been added to the Plainfield Friends of the Library silent auction. If you have the urge to build a robot, improve your knowledge of ancient Egyptian myths, or challenge your brain with a 1500-piece puzzle, you may want to stop in the library lobby to place a silent auction bid. The auction also has books about cooking, sports, humor, quilting, history and other favorites you might enjoy. It is made possible by generous donations. All funds raised go to support library programs.
