Children’s department staff present a program each month, Biggby Coffee Storytime, located at 302 Dan Jones Road in Plainfield. All ages are welcome! We read a story and have a fun activity planned–hope to see you there!

Outreach Storytimes are important

Why are library staff out in the community reading books? Well, because reading is important, and we want it to be an everyday occurrence. The more kids see reading as a daily event, the more likely they are to pick up a book on their own! Also, we love a chance to get out into the community to see families out and about; we often see new faces, or familiar library friends in a new location.
