13 May Virtual Programming for Teens
Looking for ways to participate in a library program? During May, teens in grades 6-12 can join Teen Central staff from the comfort of home!
Trivia Thursday
Every week brings a new opportunity to test your wits against your peers. Using Google Meet and Kahoot!, Teen Central staff will host a laid-back competition of themed knowledge. Points are awarded based on speed, so even if you know all of the right answers, you still have to be quick! Email lweddle@plainfieldlibrary.net if you would like the link to these programs. The upcoming themes are:
Thursday, May 14, 3p: Disney
Thursday, May 21, 3p: Animal Crossing
Thursday, May 28, 3p: Percy Jackson
Switch Saturday
Each week, staff will have Teen Central’s new Nintendo Switch online for co-op or competition play. However, don’t worry if you don’t own a Switch; you can still join in this fun and relaxed session. We encourage both players and spectators to participate in the Google Meet video chat for friendly discussion during this program. Email lweddle@plainfieldlibrary.net if you would like the library’s Nintendo friend code and the link to the Google Meet. The schedule of games is:
Saturday, May 16, 1p: Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
Saturday, May 23, 1p: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Saturday, May 30, 1p: Animal Crossing: New Horizons
Finally, don’t forget to email lweddle@plainfieldlibrary.net to join these programs! Let us know which program you are interested in and you’ll receive a link to access all the sessions.
