Young Hoosier Book Award
The Battle of the Books is a big deal at the Plainfield schools, and we love it! We buy multiple copies of the books on the annual list of nominees for the Young Hoosier Book Award, where the Battle of the Books list comes from. It’s just one way we support our schools and students. (Here are some others!)
This summer we’ve already had some children looking for these books, and they were eager to get going. (Good for you, kids!)
To make it convenient for you, this year we are putting the books on a handy display. The titles that are currently available should be there. Of course we’ll be happy to help you find what you are looking for! If the one(s) you’re looking for are checked out, staff will be happy to place a hold on them from the other 100+ libraries sharing materials through the Evergreen Indiana Library Consortium.
